Kasetsart's Bang Khen campus is one of the largest in Bangkok, so the streets around it are full of dorms and apartments, especially along Ngamwongwan Road, Phahonyothin Road and the Sena Nikhom sois. Rents are generally kinder to students than in the city centre.
The BTS Sukhumvit Line extension stops at Kasetsart University, and the SRT Red Line stops at Bang Khen, so the city and Don Mueang are both easy to reach. People working along Phahonyothin and Vibhavadi rent here too.
