Frequently asked questions
Is my first listing free?
Yes. A new account gets one free Basic package: the first listing you save is published straight away and shows for 30 days from that day. For further listings, or after the 30 days, choose a package and pay from your dashboard.
What is a package? How is it different from a listing?
A listing is the room details you fill in — it stays on your account permanently and is never lost. A package is the right to show one listing on the website, for the period you bought. Put simply: one package = one live listing.
Do I have to choose a listing when I buy?
No. You can buy a package before you have a listing and choose later, from the dashboard, which listing to publish. Equally, you can write a listing as a draft first and buy the package afterwards.
I have several rooms — do I have to buy one at a time?
No. Choose how many packages you want at checkout. An 8-room apartment building, for example, buys 8 packages in one go, pays once, and manages them together in the dashboard.
The room is let — what do I do with the package?
Take the listing down from the dashboard. The package frees up immediately with its remaining days intact, and you can put another room’s listing in it straight away. You do not lose the days you have paid for.
When the package expires, do I lose the listing?
No. The listing stays in your dashboard with every detail, photo and price — it simply stops showing on the website. Buy a new package and you can publish it again immediately, with nothing to re-enter.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the dashboard. There is no lock-in. After you cancel, the package keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged for the next one.
How do I pay?
Through Stripe, with two options at checkout. · One-time: PromptPay (scan the QR) or credit/debit card, with no auto-renewal; when the period ends the listing stops showing until you renew. · Auto-renew: credit/debit card only, charged each period until you cancel, so the listing never drops off mid-way. · Packages are added to your account automatically once payment succeeds. With PromptPay the system waits for the bank to confirm first, which is usually a few seconds.
How is SpacesMate different from other property listing sites?
SpacesMate uses Fair Rotation — listings are shuffled onto the front page at random, automatically. There is no paying to rank higher, and every listing gets an equal chance.
