Siam is the main BTS interchange, where the Sukhumvit and Silom lines cross, and Bangkok's busiest shopping district. Housing right at the station is limited; most of it is condos around Banthat Thong, Ratchathewi and Rama 1.
Renters include Chula students, people working around Siam and Ratchaprasong, and anyone who wants the whole BTS network on their doorstep. Rents are high, but the commute is short.
