About this area
Silpakorn's Wang Tha Phra campus is in the old town, among temples, museums and long-standing restaurants. Housing right by campus is limited because the area is protected, so most rentals are rooms and small apartments in Banglamphu, Tha Tien and across the river in Thonburi.
Many students rent condos in Pinklao or Bangkok Noi and come over by ferry or bus, or rent near MRT Sanam Chai and Sam Yot for an easy ride into the city.
